Can I get just the Crypto Card without an account?

Yes. The HOPPA crypto-enabled card is available as a standalone product for $2.99/mo (personal applicants only). However, you'll save on your monthly subscription and get free onboarding by bundling with a HOPPA Account.

Can I get just an account without the Crypto Card?

Absolutely. The Accounts & Banking product works independently with full multi-currency IBANs, payment cards, and SEPA/SWIFT payments.

Is the Crypto Card available for Business accounts?

Not yet — the HOPPA crypto-enabled card is currently available for personal applicants only. Business crypto card programs are coming soon. Sign up to be notified.

Are these separate products from separate companies?

Yes. Your HOPPA Account is provided by Equals Money (regulated by the FCA in the UK and NBB in the EU). Your HOPPA crypto-enabled card is operated by Hoppacard d.o.o. in partnership with our licensed card issuing partners. Each product has its own terms and conditions. However, you manage everything through one HOPPA app with a single login.

The HOPPA crypto-enabled card works with USDC and USDT deposit wallets. You can spend anywhere payment cards are accepted worldwide, with cross-chain swap integrated directly in the app.

I'm not in the EU or UK — can I get a card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The HOPPA crypto-enabled card is available worldwide for personal applicants. If you're outside the EU/UK, the Crypto Card (standalone or as part of Complete HOPPA) is your card option. The payment card included with Accounts & Banking is only available to EU and UK residents.

Why are account fees in EUR/GBP but crypto card fees in USD?

Your HOPPA Account operates in your local currency (EUR or GBP) as it's provided by a European/UK-regulated institution. The Crypto Card operates in USD as the global standard for crypto digital asset transactions. Both are displayed clearly on your dashboard.
